In the Spotlight Katie Miller

Former Honesdale High School hoops standout Katie Miller is enjoying a solid season on the NCAA hardwood this winter.

A sophomore member of the DeSales University women’s basketball team, Miller is listed as a 5-7 guard in the school’s 201617 Media Guide.

Katie has played in all 13 games to this point in the season. She’s earned four starts and averages 18.7 minutes per contest.

Miller is averaging 2.6 points per game. She is shooting 27 percent from behind the three-point arc and 55 percent from the free throw line.

Next up for DeSales (11-2) is a battle with FDUFlorham. This MAC contest is slated for a 1 p.m. tip Saturday in New Jersey.
